Stripes Style:I Can Wear STRIPES!
Anywhere in the world, may it be Seoul, Macau, Manila, New York, or Paris, stripes is a popular look. And yes, you can wear stripes! Fear not. You might think that stripes are only for slimmer people. You are wrong. You just have to find the perfect stripes that will work on you.
Here's how!
Busty You:
If you are busty (like a D or plus), then you just have to choose a small-to-medium-sized stripes to minimize your bust. Try to accessorize with a necklace to help take the focus off your chest. See Sohee's medium sized stripes below!
La Petite:
If you are short or petite, go for a short dress like Shin Min Ah or skirt like Lee Yeon Hee. And for tops, make sure it sits right on your hips, if not, you can always tuck it in and accessorize with a belt just like IU below. Big stripes are a no no.
Oh Tummy!
Who cares if you have a little tummy sticking out. You can also wear stripes! Vertical stripes will most definitely work for you (see Lee Yeon Hee). It will give the illusion of a slimmer tummy. For tops, you can go horizontal but choose medium sized stripes with a cropped cut and pull the shirt down over one side of your shoulder. Since it angles the stripes, it will give you a flattering look. You may also pair it with a blazer or jacket, opt for ones with shape just like Uee's.
Stripes also work well with the opposite sex. Just a general advice, choose small to medium sized stripes to hide bulks and elongate your physique. V-necks also help take the focus off your problem parts just like Yoo Seung Ho below.
Look casual cool with a jacket or opened button down shirt like Yoochun.
