Celebrity Style: After School Nana’s Sunny Shopping Look
It was previously mentioned that K-pop girl group After School took part in the “Samantha Thavasa Shopping Experience” where the girls appeared at the Samantha Thavasa store in the Lotte Shopping Center. This event took place in Seoul’s popular shopping district, Myeongdong. A mini-fashion show was part of the experience, and the girls modeled the latest handbags from the Japanese accessories brand. Attendees even got a special performance of the groups latest Japanese single “Lady Luck.” After School has been featured in a series of Samantha Thavasa ads in the past, and even incorporate the brand’s handbags in the dance for this new song.
During the shop appearance, Nana was radiant in a sunshine-hued ensemble. Her sleeveless silk dress ($915) in nude and yellow features a pleated skirt with a zigzag hem, it is from the 2012 Spring/Summer collection from Jill Stuart. The ladies of After School modeled items from this same line in an issue of SWAK Magazine earlier this year that featured Nana on the cover. She paired the dress with a pair of perfectly matched sandals from Korean designer Jinny Kim; the “Lorraine” heels ($227) follows the same color scheme. The pale yellow Samantha Thavasa bag ($360) she’s holding is a ruffle tote with ribbon and buckle accents.
After School’s fourth Japanese single, the double A-side “Lady Luck/Dilly Dally” will officially be released on June 13. This single, which also features a third track, “Slow Love,” can be pre-ordered now on YesAsia!
